Solitude

Here I stand on the shore. Not a soul in sight, alone but far from lonely. Simply taking it all in, communing with nature.

The art of Forest Bathing as described Qing Li in Time Magazine: https://time.com/5259602/japanese-forest-bathing/ is the timeless Japanese practice of bathing “yoku” in the forest “shirin”. Qin Li describes the many health benefits to be gained from this practice.

My daily shirin yoku makes me calmer, more energised and happier. The ocean is the “forest” I choose to “bathe” in.

Where is your “forest”? Where do you choose to “bathe”?
